Drug store must haves!

 

I’m not ashamed to say it! Some of my favorite beauty products come from my local drug store. I often walk into Walgreen’s needing just one thing and I’ll leave with a bag full of goodies from the beauty and makeup department. Aye aye aye. Some of the time I’ll find a product I just can’t live without and sometimes I’ll try something once and never touch it again… oops!

Hopefully my list of products will help you narrow down your search when it comes to the every-day basics a girl needs without having to pay the designer product cost. Let’s be real- most of the time the cheap stuff works just as good as the products that cost an arm and a leg. Sally Hansen Salon Airbrush Legs Want perfect looking legs? Well this is my go to product. It gives my legs a beautiful glow and hides all my scars. Perfect for a night out.

Jargons Natural Glow 3 Dats to Glow Moisturizer When using this product you truly see results within 3 days if not sooner. My skin is very fair and this helps me maintain a summer glow. It comes in two shades. Fair to medium or medium to dark. I use the medium to dark to get a darker looking tan.

L’Oreal Advanced Suncare Silky Sheer BB Face Lotion 50+ Sunscreen is the best anti aging product you could ever buy yourself. This one is my current favorite. I apply it every morning before putting on my makeup.

Dr. Bonner’s Magic Soap This body soap will change your life! I use to have really dry skin and since I have been using this soap it has changed my skin for the better. I no longer have to apply lotion multiple times a day. If I just had to pick one thing on this list for you to go out and buy this would be the one. I even use it on my  face at times!

Neutrogena Anti-Residue formula shampoo I just rediscover this shampoo not too long ago. My mom use to wash my hair with this growing up when I would go swimming a lot. As a blonde my color seems to get darker and darker as time goes by because of all the product build up. This shampoo revitalizes my color and brings back the blonde. I use it once a week to keep my color on point.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream I’ve been trying and trying to get my hands on a Kylie Lip Kit and just haven’t had any luck. So in the meantime I did a google search on similar products and found these. These lips creams are amazing and less than half the cost of a Kylie lip kit. My favorite colors are Antwerp, Ibiza and Monte Carlo.

Covergirl The Supersizer Fibers Mascara I have never been into spending a lot of money on mascara. I have found many drug store mascaras that are amazing and actually work much better than the big designer ones. This one in particular is my new favorite. It literally adds length and volume to my lashes. I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

 

Goody Slideproof hairties A hair-tie is a hair-tie right?!? WRONG! Use these hair-ties and your hair won’t budge.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes I have tried a million different kinds and over time I buy a different kind I always go back to these. They take all my makeup off with ease and leave my skin feeling moist and refreshed!

Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil I found this gem recently when I needed a eyebrow pencil in a jam. I use the Dark Blonde color and it matches perfectly. Which is hard to find even within the expensive brands. Give it a try!

 

Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara Yes it may say mascara but I actually use this to tame my wild eyebrows. It works perfectly to set my brows into place. I learned this trick from one of my favorite makeup artists, Kara Knudsen.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream  This stuff is the real deal. Like I mentioned before I use to have severely dry skin and until I found this and Dr. Bonners Magic Soap my skin was always dry and irritated. This lotion has been recommended to me by several dermatologists and I totally see why. By far the best lotion I have ever used.
